What Are Pre-Defined and Custom Date Ranges?
What are pre-defined Date Ranges?
SegMetrics has rolling date ranges to use when viewing your reports or dashboards. These rolling date ranges includes:
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- Last 14 Days
- Last 30 Days
- This Week
- Last Week
- This Month
- Last Month
- This Quarter
- Last Quarter
- This Year
- Last Year
All of these include the data from the current day.
Pro Tip: Historic data is imported from all applications other than ad platforms (which only import the previous month of data).
What are custom Date Ranges?
Custom Date Ranges allows you to define a fixed data range by selecting the start and end date. You can manually update these on shared dashboards without generating a new link, for example, to change it to the previous month's data.
How are widget date ranges defined?
Widgets for a custom dashboard can have their own date ranges, including the following options:
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- Last 14 Days
- Last 30 Days
- Last 60 Days
- Last 90 Days
- This Week
- Last Week
- This Month
- Last Month
- This Quarter
- Last Quarter
- This Year
- Last Year
Each Widget on a dashboard has their own date range, which allows you to mix different date ranges to report on differences between different segments.
