Tracking Revenue In SegMetrics
We’re going to go out on a limb and guess that tracking Revenue is critical to the success of your business. Here’s how to do it in SegMetrics.
Tracking Revenue
Revenue can be tracked right from your Home Dashboard.
At the top of the dashboard you will see the amount of Revenue generated during the selected timeframe.
You can also see a Revenue graph right below the Revenue metric. This graph shows you the total Revenue based on when the sales occurred.
This chart is helpful for identifying spikes in sales.
If you see an uptick at any given point, narrow the date selector to that timeframe to investigate which Products were purchased and who purchased them. Which Tags do the Buyers have? What UTMs do they have?
If you can locate the reason for the surge in Revenue, you have a chance at replicating your success.
You can also track Revenue from the Orders Report page.
To see the Revenue metric for different timeframes simply use the timeframe selector.
Tracking Revenue For Tags, UTM Parameters and Referring URLs
Tracking Revenue based on the actions people take, or what they like or where they came from is often the most valuable analysis available to you.
To track Revenue for Tags, Referring URL, Campaign or Source, navigate to the Table Reports on the Report Page.
Select the tab that you want to analyze and then check out the Revenue column.
