Inviting Team Members
The Team settings in your account allow you to invite other individuals to have access to the SegMetrics account. Furthermore, a single user can belong to multiple accounts, which is convenient for marketing agencies and contractors.
Inviting Team Members
Grant access to your SegMetrics account to your team by following the steps below.
To invite team members to your SegMetrics account:
- Click the Gear icon in the top right of your account
- Click Team
- Enter the team member’s email address
- Select the permissions level
- Click Send Invitation
A welcome email with an invite will be sent to the email address entered for that team member. Once the team member accepts the invitation, they’ll be able to create their own password and login to the SegMetrics account
Accepting Invitations
When you are invited to join a SegMetrics team, you'll receive an email with an invite link. If you don't want to join the team, you can ignore that email. If you would like to join the team, then follow the steps below:
- Click on the Accept Invitation Link
- If you already logged into your SegMetrics account, you will be automatically added to the team
- If you do not have a SegMetrics account, you can input your email and password to create a free account
- If you have a SegMetrics account, but are not logged in, you can click Sign in now at the bottom of the page to attach the invite to your existing account
Removing Team Members
If you ever need to remove a team member from your SegMetrics account, follow the steps outlined below:
To remove a team member:
- Click the Gear icon in the top right of your account
- Click Team
- To the right of the member’s email address, click Remove
- To confirm the team member removal, click OK
Note: In order to remove team members with permissions of “Owner” you must first switch their permissions to either User or Admin.
