Cancel Agency Sub Accounts

As an Agency account holder in SegMetrics, you can add, invite, and remove client accounts directly from your Agency dashboard. This article walks you through how to access the Manage Clients section and how to remove a client from your agency.


Accessing Manage Clients

  1. Log in to your SegMetrics Agency Account.
  2. In the left-hand navigation menu, click Client Accounts to expand the section.
  3. Click Manage Clients.


Adding Client Accounts

From the Manage Clients screen, you have two options for adding a client to your agency:

Invite a Client Send an invitation to a new or existing client so they can set up their own account and billing through your branded registration page. When a client signs up via your invite link, they will pay standard pricing rather than the agency discount, but you will automatically be granted access to their account and receive a commission revenue share.

Create a Client Sub-Account Create the client's account on their behalf and include the cost in your agency billing. Once the sub-account is created, your client will automatically receive an email prompting them to connect their integrations and finish setting up their account.


Inviting Clients and Removing Existing Clients

Scrolling down on the Manage Clients page, you will find two additional sections:

Invite Link This is your unique agency signup URL. You can share this link directly with any new or existing client to invite them to join your agency. When they sign up using this link, their account will be automatically associated with your agency.

Current Clients This section lists all client accounts currently connected to your agency. Each client is shown by name, with a Remove button to the right. Clicking Remove will disconnect that client from your agency account.

Note: Removing a client from your agency does not delete their SegMetrics account. It only disconnects them from your agency, meaning you will no longer have access to their account and they will no longer appear in your client list.

Q: What is the difference between Invite a Client and Create a Client Sub-Account?

A: When you invite a client, they set up and manage their own billing at standard pricing, and you receive a commission revenue share for referring them. When you create a sub-account, you set up the account on their behalf and the cost is included in your agency billing rather than billed separately to the client.

Q: What happens when I remove a client from my agency?

A: Removing a client disconnects their account from your agency. You will lose access to their account and they will no longer appear in your Current Clients list. Their SegMetrics account itself is not deleted and they can continue using it independently.

Q: Can I re-add a client after removing them?

A: Yes. You can share your agency Invite Link with them again or create a new sub-account for them at any time from the Manage Clients screen.

Q: Where do I find my agency invite link?

A: Your unique invite link is displayed at the top of the Manage Clients page under the Invite Link section. You can copy and share it directly with clients to have them sign up under your agency.

Q: Will my client be notified when I create a sub-account for them?

A: Yes. When you create a client sub-account on their behalf, SegMetrics automatically sends them an email with instructions to connect their integrations and complete the setup of their account.
