Now that you're all set up with SegMetrics - let's get your first dashboard up and running in just a few minutes. It's easier than you think.
The best place to start is with a simple question: what do you actually want to know about your marketing? From there, SegMetrics helps you build a dashboard around the answer. Trying to track where your new leads are coming from? Start with Contacts. Want to see which ads are driving purchases? Head to Advertising. Looking to dig into your website traffic? Traffic has you covered. Each view is designed to surface the metrics that matter most for that part of your business. For now, Contacts is a great first choice — it's one of the most useful dashboards for any marketer.

Click Dashboards in the left menu, then hit 'Start from a template.' You'll see templates organized by what you're trying to track — things like order conversions, ad performance, call tracking, and more. Not sure which fits? Select 'All Templates' to browse everything available.
For this example, let's grab the Ad Performance template. One click and you've got a complete dashboard — the right widgets, the right metrics, already wired up and pulling your data. No guessing what to add or how to set it up. It's built for exactly the question you're trying to answer.
Of course, every business is different — so you can customize from here. Move widgets around, resize them, edit the settings inside each one to filter or segment the data however you need. Think of the template as a great starting point, not a finished product.
