Connect HighLevel with SegMetrics
Connect your SegMetrics account to HighLevel, also known as GoHighLevel, and pull in all of your historical leads and deal data. You can then use that data to create reports inside SegMetrics.
Integrate HighLevel and SegMetrics
First, integrate your HighLevel account with your SegMetrics account
To integrate with HighLevel:
- Head over to the Integrations page in your SegMetrics account
Click on the HighLevel integration
- Enter your HighLevel API Key (Find your API key at Settings > Company > API Key)
- Click Connect HighLevel
Note: You can connect to a single CRM or Email tool at a time. If you’ve already connected to a CRM or email tool, you’ll need to disconnect from that tool in order to integrate with HighLevel. HighLevel doesn't automatically set the dates for the new customers, so you need to add the previous customer's created dates to a custom field such as: Date Created: (enter old created date from previous CRM)
Once integrated, SegMetrics imports all historical contact and deal information from your HighLevel pipelines.
How much historical data is synced when you first connect HighLevel to SegMetrics?
When you connect a new HighLevel data source, all historical data from your HighLevel account is synced.
Pro Tip:Once your HighLevel Data Source is connected and actively syncing data, we store the data that's collected in our own database. This allows us to accumulate more data over time as more data syncs are made so that you can report on more historical HighLevel data in your SegMetrics reports.
Reporting on HighLevel Data
Now that you have HighLevel connected to your SegMetrics account, you can start running reports and using HighLevel data to filter and segment.
For example, run a New Leads report to see the total number of new leads added to your HighLevel account in the last 30 days.
Use the Tags filter to filter your reports by contacts who have been applied a given tag name.
Use the Deal filters to filter your reports by deal name, pipeline name, pipeline stage name, and more.
HighLevel Landing Pages
If you’re using HighLevel’s landing page builder, be sure to install your SegMetrics tracking pixel on ALL pages. Your tracking pixel is how we track web activity such as page visits, and collect other data such as UTM parameters and ads tracking data.
Here is a help video from HighLevel with instructions on how to install your tracking snippet.
Frequently Asked Questions
What time zone is HighLevel data synced in?
HighLevel data is synced in UTC. SegMetrics reports on your data based in the timezone that you set in your Account Settings.
Do I need the tracking pixel to get the data found in my HighLevel account?
You do not need to create a Tracking Link for SegMetrics to track website visitors, it will still gather the UTM data. Tracking Links provide a simple way to get further detail of exactly which link they clicked for ads, email broadcasts, or campaigns.
