HighLevel

Connect your SegMetrics account to HighLevel (also known as GoHighLevel) and pull in all of your historical leads and deal data. This integration enables you to analyze your marketing campaign performance and create comprehensive reports inside SegMetrics.

Integration Overview

SegMetrics integrates with HighLevel to import all historical contact and deal information from your HighLevel pipelines. Once connected, you can analyze lead sources, track deal progression, and measure marketing campaign effectiveness across your entire customer journey.

Important: You can only connect one CRM or email tool at a time in SegMetrics. If you've already connected another CRM or email tool, you'll need to disconnect it before integrating with HighLevel.

Watch this video for a walk through on how to connect your HighLevel account to SegMetrics or read below for a step by step.

Historical Data Sync

When you first connect HighLevel to SegMetrics, all historical data from your HighLevel account syncs automatically. SegMetrics imports all contact and deal information from your HighLevel pipelines.

Pro Tip: Once connected and actively syncing, SegMetrics stores the collected data in its own database. This allows accumulation of more data over time as additional syncs occur, enabling reports on more comprehensive historical HighLevel data.

HighLevel Landing Pages and Tracking

If you're using HighLevel's landing page builder, install your SegMetrics tracking pixel on ALL pages. The tracking pixel collects web activity data including page visits, UTM parameters, and ads tracking data.

Important Form Tracking Limitation: If you are using HighLevel forms hosted on something other than HighLevel pages, as of now, there is no way for those opt-ins to be tracked. Tracking pixels are not currently supported within HighLevel forms.

For installation instructions, refer to the HighLevel help video on installing tracking snippets.

Hey there! So you're using HighLevel—excellent choice. But here's the thing: are you actually seeing the full picture of what's working in your marketing? Like, which channels are bringing in your most profitable customers, or where are leads dropping off in your funnel? If you've been scratching your head on these questions, don't worry. Today I'm going to show you how connecting HighLevel to SegMetrics gives you the answers you've been looking for.

HighLevel is a fantastic tool. It's an all-in-one powerhouse for customer management, sales pipeline tracking, and honestly, their landing page and funnel builders are top-notch. But here's where things get tricky: most marketers struggle to connect the dots when it comes to marketing analytics. Sure, you've got all this data sitting in HighLevel, but it's really hard to see what's actually happening below the surface. Which marketing channels are bringing in your best customers? Where are people getting stuck in your funnels? How long does it take to see return on your ad spend? That's exactly where SegMetrics comes into play.

When you connect HighLevel with SegMetrics, you're combining all of your essential HighLevel data with SegMetrics' powerful attribution engine. Now we're talking.

Alright, let me show you how this actually works. Connecting HighLevel to SegMetrics is super easy. If you don't already have a SegMetrics account, you can sign up for a 14-day free trial so you can test it out with your own HighLevel data. Once in SegMetrics, just head over to your integrations page, find HighLevel in the list, and click to authorize the connection. That's it! Your HighLevel data—contacts, tags, custom fields, opportunities, revenue—all the data just starts flowing into SegMetrics automatically.

Alright, now let's take a look at what you can actually do with your data once it's in SegMetrics.

First up, let's see exactly where your leads are coming from. You've got multiple marketing channels running: paid ads, organic search, social media. SegMetrics can tell you which ones are bringing in the most profitable leads—not just the most leads, but the ones that actually turn into revenue. Here on the acquisition dashboard, we can see that the paid ads channel is leading the charge with around 1,400 new leads, generating over $146,000 in revenue. Social and email are also responsible for generating some leads and revenue, but paid ads are clearly the channel driving most of those leads and revenue. Now you know exactly which sources to focus your marketing budget on.

Now let's check out SegMetrics' segmentation capabilities. You can segment your data using all of your HighLevel information—from tags, custom fields, opportunity pipelines, you name it. Let's head over to the orders dashboard to see how much revenue we've earned from our webinar attendees. Just add a filter at the top of the dashboard, select the tags filter, then select the tag that you've applied to these attendees. These tags are coming straight from HighLevel. And just like that, we can see that we've earned around $32,000 in revenue from our webinar attendees. We can also see average order values and customer values. Scroll down to see the top products and marketing sources that drove those customers and revenue. Done easy!

Now head on over to the deal pipelines report, where you can see exactly which marketing channels are bringing in the most opportunities and converting to actual revenue within your HighLevel pipelines. This is gold if you're running a sales team or call center. Here we can see that paid ads have generated and converted eight opportunities, closing nearly $50,000 in revenue. Now you have a better understanding of which marketing channels produce the most business opportunities and drive the most revenue.

And here's one of my favorites: you can build custom reports and dashboards to see your funnels in action. This lets you identify bottlenecks in your funnel so you can fix those leaks before they become massive problems. Build out exactly what you want to see so you can focus on the metrics that are most important to your business. Compare different funnels to see which are working. Here we can see that Funnel A has generated more leads and customers. Now you know exactly which funnels to focus your efforts on without having to guess.

With HighLevel and SegMetrics working together, you've got everything you need to take your business to the next level. Well, that wraps things up! We've got lots more videos on the channel and more on the way to help you optimize your marketing with SegMetrics. Don't forget to like and subscribe below, and I'll see you next time!
