Connect LeadConnector with SegMetrics

Connect your SegMetrics account to LeadConnector and pull in all of your historical leads and deal data. You can then use that data to create reports inside SegMetrics.

Integrate LeadConnector and SegMetrics

First, integrate your LeadConnector account with your SegMetrics account

To integrate with LeadConnector:

  1. Head over to the Integrations page in your SegMetrics account
  2. Click on the LeadConnector integration

  1. You will be forwarded to a LeadConnector domain and login screen even if you do not normally login to leadconnectorhq.com. If you are not already logged into leadconnectorhq.com, you will be prompted to. If you do not see this page, you are already logged into LeadConnector and can skip to the section below for "already logged in" below.

This will open a new tab with a log in page:

  1. Login with the credentials you use to login to your LeadConnector app, even if that app is not at leadconnectorhq.com. You may be prompted to complete two factor authentication:

  1. Follow instructions to pass that and you will be logged into LeadConnector, even if you do not usually login to leadconnectorhq.com.
  2. Now close the tab you used to login. Open the still open tab prompting you to login to LeadConnector from the first screenshot. Refresh the page to clear the “Please login to LeadConnector to continue!” message. If you happen to have closed that tab, go back to your SegMetrics Integration page and start the process again. 

If already logged in, follow these steps

  1. If you were already logged into leadconnectorhq.com, this is where you would start the process. You should now be presented with a list of Sub-Accounts you have access to:

  1. We only support connecting Sub-Accounts. Choose your Sub-Account to connect and you will be forwarded back to SegMetrics:

  1. You can choose to import Orders and Invoices from LeadConnector. If you are connecting the payment providers that LeadConnector uses (eg. Stripe) as well, we recommend you keep this setting off.
  2. Click continue and your LeadConnector, or white label there of, is connected to your SegMetrics account!

Once integrated, SegMetrics imports all historical contact and deal information from your LeadConnector pipelines.

How much historical data is synced when you first connect LeadConnector to SegMetrics?

When you connect a new LeadConnector data source, all historical data from your LeadConnector account is synced.

Pro Tip: Once your LeadConnector Data Source is connected and actively syncing data, we store the data that's collected in our own database. This allows us to accumulate more data over time as more data syncs are made so that you can report on more historical LeadConnector data in your SegMetrics reports.

Reporting on LeadConnector Data

Now that you have LeadConnector connected to your SegMetrics account, you can start running reports and using LeadConnector data to filter and segment. 

For example, run a New Leads report to see the total number of new leads added to your LeadConnector account in the last 30 days.

Use the Tags filter to filter your reports by contacts who have been applied a given tag name.

Use the Deal filters to filter your reports by deal name, pipeline name, pipeline stage name, and more.

LeadConnector Landing Pages

If you’re using LeadConnector’s landing page builder, be sure to install your SegMetrics tracking pixel on ALL pages. Your tracking pixel is how we track web activity such as page visits, and collect other data such as UTM parameters and ads tracking data. 

Frequently Asked Questions

What time zone is LeadConnector data synced in?

LeadConnector data is synced in UTC. SegMetrics reports on your data based in the timezone that you set in your Account Settings.

Do I need the tracking pixel to get the data found in my LeadConnector account?

You do not need to create a Tracking Link for SegMetrics to track website visitors, it will still gather the UTM data. Tracking Links provide a simple way to get further detail of exactly which link they clicked for ads, email broadcasts, or campaigns.
