Connect Wix with SegMetrics

Our direct Wix integration lets you pull in all of your Contacts, Orders and more from your Wix account.

With that information, you can easily segment that data into your leads, find the automation triggers that convert to customers, understand where your most valuable leads are coming from, and more!

Integrate Wix and SegMetrics

When you do something specific, you’ll get a specific result.

To integrate with Wix:

Head over to the Integrations page in your SegMetrics account.
Select the Wix integration.
Next, You'll need to generate an API Key in your Wix Account Settings.
Ensure you grant the Wix Stores and Wix Contacts & Members permissions under the All site permissions section.
Locate and copy your Account ID from your Wix Account Settings.
Locate and copy your Site ID from your Site Dashboard's URL.
Enter the API Key, Account ID and Site ID gathered above into the Wix integration page.
Click Connect Wix.

Now that your Wix account has been integrated with SegMetrics, we’ll start importing all of your historic contact data, including email addresses, tags, and more. You should receive an email once the import is complete. Imports can take up to 25 minutes to complete.

Install Your SegMetrics Tracking Pixel to Your Wix Site

In order for SegMetrics to properly track your site activity and attribute conversions back to ad and email clicks, you’ll need to install your SegMetrics tracking pixel to your Wix Site.

There are two different ways to get the pixel installed on your site:

Custom Code Settings

Copy your SegMetrics tracking pixel.
Head over to Wix and follow these instructions to paste your pixel inside of a custom code block in the Head section of your site.

Google Tag Manager

First, be sure to create a tag in GTM for your SegMetrics tracking pixel.
Head over to Wix and follow their instructions to integrate your site with Google Tag Manager.

How much historical data is synced when you first connect Wix to SegMetrics?

When you connect a new Wix data source, all historical data from your Wix account is synced.

Once your Wix Data Source is connected and actively syncing data, we store the data that's collected in our own database. This allows us to accumulate more data over time as more data syncs are made so that you can report on the most up to date Wix data in your SegMetrics reports.

How to build a report using Wix data

Once your data is imported from Wix, you can create reports with the data to see how each touchpoint influences your sales.

From your SegMetrics account, click Acquisition > New Leads
Select your desired filters based on dates, tags and other touchpoints
Once you have your report filters just right, you can rename, save and access your report again later by clicking Save at the top right area of the report window
