Email Updates and Notifications
SegMetrics can automatically send you customized report emails on your preferred schedule. Configure your email notifications to receive timely insights about your marketing performance.
Access notification settings
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner of any SegMetrics screen
- Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu
- Click the Notifications tab in the top navigation
Configure notification options
- Select delivery days - Choose which days of the week to receive reports by checking the appropriate boxes
- Choose recipients - Select team members from your SegMetrics account who should receive the reports
- Save settings - Click the blue Set Notification Options button to save your preferences
Selecting reports for notifications
Customize which reports are included in your automated email sequence to ensure you receive the most relevant insights.
Choose your reports
- Scroll down to the Included Reports section on the Account Settings page
- Standard Reports - Toggle on any of the default reports you want:
- Top KPIs: Leads, Lead Value & Revenue
- Top Products
- Top Referrers
- Ad Campaign Performance
- Custom Reports - If you've created custom reports, they'll appear below standard reports. Toggle on any you want to include
- Click Update Selected Reports to save your selections
Note: You can include up to 6 custom reports in your email sequence. Reports are sent in the order they appear on the settings page.
Changing your email address
Need to update the email address associated with your SegMetrics account? You can easily change it from your profile settings.
Update your email
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner
- Select Account Settings from the dropdown
- Navigate to Your Profile section
- Enter your new email address in the Email field
- Click Save Changes to update your profile
Important: This changes your login email and where you'll receive all SegMetrics notifications and reports.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I set different recipients for individual reports?
A: Currently, recipients are set globally for all reports in the email sequence. However, you can create different report sets for different recipients based on your team's needs.
Q: Who can receive email reports?
A: Only users or admins within your SegMetrics account can be included in the email sequence. You cannot add external email addresses.
Q: How often are reports sent?
A: Reports are sent based on the days you select in your notification settings. You have full control over the frequency and timing of report delivery.
Q: Can I change the order of reports in the email?
A: Reports are sent in the order they appear on the Account Settings page. To change the order, you'll need to update your report selections accordingly.
Q: What's the difference between changing my profile email and notification recipients?
A: Changing your profile email updates your login credentials and personal account settings. Notification recipients determine who receives the automated report emails - you can select multiple team members for this.
Q: Can I add team members to receive reports?
