Connecting Listrak With SegMetrics



SegMetrics gives you the ability to analyze your Listrak data and connect it to other data sources.

With that information, you can easily segment that data into your leads, find the automation triggers that convert to customers, understand where your most valuable leads are coming from, and more!

Integration Overview

SegMetrics imports your contacts, custom fields, and tags (if applicable) directly from Listrak. SegMetrics is kept up to date with the most recent information in your Listrak account, to make sure you always have access to the information you need.

If you have a payment processor SegMetrics has a native integration for, you can connect that in SegMetrics and our tool with pull the information together using the email addresses in Listrak. 

You don't need to import people in a special way: they just need to be in your Listrak account!



How to connect Listrak to SegMetrics

1) If you haven’t already been prompted to connect Listrak upon setup, click on the gear icon in the top right corner and then click "Integrations"

2) Once you're on the Integrations page, type in Listrak or select the CRM list and click on Connect next to Listrak.

3) This will open the Activation window, which is where you will be prompted to enter your client ID and Secret and then click “Connect Listrak”


4) Thats it, you’re done! We’ll take it from here as it will take some time to import all of your Listrak data. This will include contacts and any lists/tags that are applicable.

You will get an email notifying you when its complete. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, make sure you start connecting any of your other integrations such as ad platforms or even other payment processors. 


How much historical data is synced when you first connect Listrak to SegMetrics?

When you connect a new Listrak integration, all historical data from your Listrak account is synced. This typically includes any tags,lists,contacts, etc. There will of course be no historical click data unless the SegMetrics tracking pixel has already been on your pages. All click data can only date as far back as when the pixel was placed on a website. From the date you connected, if you delete a contact in Listrak we will keep it in SegMetrics. Many times customers who wish to opt out or be deleted from your mailing lists are still active in your ecosystem. SegMetrics ensures you can track this. 

Pro Tip: Once Listrak is connected and actively syncing data, we store the data that's collected in our own database. This allows us to accumulate more data over time as more data syncs are made so that you can report on more historical Listrak  data in your SegMetrics reports.


How does SegMetrics connect my Listrak contacts with ads?

SegMetrics brings in your contacts as leads. We use the contact email as the unique identifier and match that with the email our pixel sees on your webpages when that user opts in or buys something.

How to connect payment information to Listrak contacts

You can integrate your payment processor with SegMetrics. We recommend using whichever payment processor can act as your single source of truth.

How to build a Report using Listrak data

Once your data is imported from Listrak, you can create reports with the data to see how each touchpoint influences your sales.

1) Go to conversions on the left navigation bar. Then click Orders.

2) Select your desired filters based on dates, tags and touchpoints 

3) Save it for later use or to use the data in a custom dashboard

What time zone is Listrak data synced in?

Listrak data is synced in UTC. SegMetrics reports on your data based in the timezone that you set in your Account Settings.

How can I set up Landing Pages to track Optins?

You'll want to install the SegMetrics tracking pixel on all of your pages as well as any forms/opt-ins. You can test the schedule/opt in forms using our debugger tool located at the bottom of your settings page

Do I need to create tracking links to get the data found in my Listrak account?

It is recommended you use UTMs in your email campaigns. That way SegMetrics can track the effectiveness of specific emails. You do not need to create a Tracking Link for SegMetrics to track website visitors, it will still gather domain and URL data. Tracking Links provide a simple way to get further detail of exactly which link they clicked for ads, email broadcasts, or campaigns.
